Prerequisites

Before connecting HubSpot, make sure you have a HubSpot account with CRM access. You'll need admin permissions to authorize the OAuth connection. The integration works with HubSpot Free, Starter, Professional, and Enterprise plans.

Connect your HubSpot account

Navigate to the Actions tab in your chatbot dashboard. Find HubSpot in the CRM Integrations section and click 'Connect HubSpot'. A popup window will open for authorization.

Authorize permissions

Review the permissions Chattlebot is requesting. These include creating contacts, creating deals, searching contacts, and syncing lead status. Click 'Authorize' to grant access. Your credentials are encrypted and securely stored.

  • You can disconnect the integration at any time from the Actions tab.

Verify the connection

After authorization, you'll be redirected back to your dashboard. The HubSpot card will show 'Connected' with your account email. The integration is now active and ready to use.

How it works

When your chatbot captures a lead, it automatically creates a contact in HubSpot with all the collected information. If the lead data includes conversation context, a summary is added to the contact notes. Deals can be created through workflow actions.
