Navigate to Knowledge

From your chatbot dashboard, click on 'Knowledge' in the left sidebar. This is where you'll add all the content your chatbot will learn from.

Add file sources

Click 'Add File' to upload documents. Supported formats include PDF, DOCX, TXT, and Markdown files. Your chatbot will extract and index the content automatically. Great for product catalogs, FAQs, documentation, and company policies.

Crawl web URLs

Click 'Add URL' to index content from your website. Enter a URL and Chattlebot will crawl the page and all linked pages within the same domain. Perfect for help centers, blog posts, and product pages.

Verify indexing status

Monitor the status of your sources in the Knowledge panel. Each source shows whether it's processing, indexed, or if there was an error. Your chatbot can start using indexed content immediately — no waiting for batch processing.

Test with knowledge questions
